MBE, diva flautist + music entrepreneur has a cure for all conditions in this latest "conspiracy" ( conspiracy = breathing together ) A confidence building course for all levels of adult woodwind player. This course is a celebration of Atarah and Julie's 20 years together since creating the very first, highly successful, multilevel musical happening; " A Conspiracy of Flutes ".  Joined by professional performer and music arranger Nick Foster, this renowned team guarantees to deliver a creative, companionable and stress- free course, giving a musical lift - no matter where you are on the playing ladder. All players welcome! Sample Atarah's endless energy, Julie's infectious enthusiasm and ever present 'joie de vivre', Nick’s calm patience and musical integrity and you will want to play all day. We don’t stop ! There will be one to one playing - therapeutic sessions with Atarah, as this is her speciality. Julie's TTT helps to develop a secure technique and great sound, Nick arranges specifically for the coached ensemble sessions and there will be group music making in small or large doses - Baroque, Classical, Romantic through to Swing and Jazz - whichever you feel you need. Quiz night, lectures, fun and chat round the fire with like minded others. Atarah was born 10 miles away in Abergavenny so she will be hosting a Banqueting Hall 70th birthday year grand feast. " At fourteen I taught my first adult pupil, a 6 foot tall, gorgeous guy- and since then, unlike many professional players, teaching adults of all levels has been my passion. This is why over 15 years ago I created with Julie the first ground-breaking-adult –all –level flute -courses, in France and then at Bloxham. On our courses, Julie is the mistress of technique, but after 50 years of experience, I am the master of finding what each person needs, technically and musically ,and sorting out any physical problems to make playing more satisfying. I'll find suitable repertoire and projects to give aims and motivation for the years ahead. Its my only course in Britain this year, so I hope to see you there and find what you need for your fluting future. p.s.
